I left her ass.
So.
with this decent amount of change I am saving… (±$300)
I’m trying to think of what I should buy my self for x-mas that is right around this price.
As gay as it sounds. I kinda want one of those tom-tom’s. I just think they are cool. I never get lost. But I do a lot of traveling so I figure when I do get lost. I use about 10-15$ in gas trying to find my way back to the main road. so do the math.
Cost of small navi thing. approx $400?
getting lost. 15$
mutliply that by 20 times a year.
20x15=$300
So i figure If I own this thing for 2 years. It should pay for it self?
BTW. I use this logic with a lot of stuff I buy. ex: valentine one. ect.
Gas is about $2.50 a gallon.
You use about 4 to 6 gallons when lost.
Let’s assume you get 20 mpg.
So on average, every time you get lost, you drive around 80 to 120 miles to find your way again.
A tom-tom is around $300, so you would have to get lost 20 - 30 times for it pay for itself. In other words, you plan on driving around aimlessly for 2,400 miles with out tom-tom.
and I do a lot of driving in new england…vt/maine…ect.
and up in quebec. there is a lot of shitty ass roads that are unmarked and not on maps.
and when i do get lost. I don’t get 20mpg because i am flying everywhere because I am angry.
so please. Don’t rain on my parade. i am trying to justify buying one.
Please. Don’t bring logic into this thread. ok?
