What to consider: 636/gsxr 600/cbr600rr

I will most likely be in the market for a newer 600 in the next few months. I have been casually looking but before I pull the trigger I would like to get the pros/cons, and personal experience of said bikes.

I currently own a 01 gsxr 600 and I must say besides being a bit of a PPPig, it is a rock solid, reliable bike. I would love another Suzuki if I found the right one.

04-05 gsxr (love the body styling)

636(both the older and newer styles) I hear good and bad things about both styles so please enlighten me.

I know looks arent everything. I am interested in info and personal experience in terms of reliability, performance, and anything else you may want to add.

i have a gsxr 600…i love it, it really fits me well but i have to say i have ridden the 636’s and based on riding one and what i have heard about them…they are hard to beat…just ask willy all i have ever heard from him is how his 636 was one of his favorites to ride…but i also do not have any complaints about the gsxr

07 CBR… they made it lighter and changed quite a few things.

I have, the honda and gxxr feel the best to me, but I have yet to be on the newer style 636, the older one was quite a while ago so my memory is foggy…

who wants to let me ride their biiiikessss:nerd::nerd:lol

If I got honda I would want it to be atleast 05/06 for the inverted forks/etc. 07 is prolly a bit out of my price range…

I’ve seen 07s go for $6k. To me, it would be worth the extra few bux.

I’ve rode all of those, had a 05 cbr600rr and the 636 obviously, rode my buddies gsxr 600 too. Not a fan of suzuki at all, the cbr was nice though, hondas last forever too, but overall the Kawasaki beats them in styling, ride, and fun factor IMO

What was it about the Suzuki’s you disliked?

For styling, I’d say 05/06 636 > 600rr > 03/04 636 > gixxer

For handling, 600rr. But I may be biased. Overall if you had to choose between a 05-06 600rr or an 05-06 636 for the same price, I would def say the 636.

i have an 06 gixxer and I like it. To me it feel comfy on long rides and handles well (takes well to mods). I made the switch from yamaha to suzuki and im happy with it
