What to consider: 636/gsxr 600/cbr600rr

I’ve been all over area craigslists but that craigshelper thing is cool:tup:

Huge time saver.

so you liked the gsxr more than the r6? why may i ask…and how about the gsxr compared to the cbr…

find anything else conmag??:grouphug:

I have actually been searching everyday but craig’s has nothing new…anything new on ebay is either too expensive to too high mileage or too far away…im still a cripple in bed so ill keep seaching for ya. dont worry i havent forgot

yeah dude craigs is pretty bare around here… thanks for looking dude:tup:

How far are you willing to travel?

350 miles TOPS… but to go that far it needs to be pretty damn close to a done deal…lol.

Thats about the most I could pull off for a day trip.

I went close to 400 each way and that was a full day.

Yeah thats about my limit. I mean… I would prefer closer but for the right bike I will go as far as it takes.

And the right bike IS…(WHITE 05-06 636) ughhhh

sure.

I’ve rode 2 of them and found them to be very uncomfortable riding position, hard seats, and lack balls. A 636 or Gixxer 600 shits on a 600rr all day long.

:word: I traveled for exactly what I wanted.

I’ll hardly say that 600rr’s lack balls, I’ve seen them go 10.8 in the 1/4, but i will say the clutches tend to slip when trying to stunt them outside of first gear which might be a reason for them to feel less powerful (especially to someone coming off of a liter bike/stunt bike)… I’ve also watched an 03 600rr walk an 05 r6 and seen them beat an 04 gsxr 600 too.

636 definitely has the advantage in power and comfort, (I’m not sure id give it to them in build quality) and then of course you have styling, but thats purely subjective. Lastly, brakes, 600rr’s have phenomenal brakes, my 636 could stop a train once i bought HH pads and steel braided lines… but before that, I’d give the advantage to the 600rr.

Bikes up for sale, seriously in the market now. If anyone comes across an '03-'06 600rr or 636 let me know do0ds!
