The jeep is an 08 and went missing in 08. So it wasnt around that long at all. Id track all previous owners. The guy who said “never calle again” would be first.
I sopke to a NYS DMV investgator he thinks its fishy that the state police wont help and neither will the MA DMV. IF a vin plate needs to applied or removed legally the manufacturer OR a state DMV office is supposed to be the ones doing that work. Its a fucked up situation. If i found out that the police nor the dmv would help i would make the kid disappear
If this guy lawyers up, he could probably get everything back and then some. Sounds like he has some good evidence against the two prior owners.
He has a lawyer i believe. Just everyone saying hes stuck. Maybe theres more to it that isnt known. I just feel bad for the dude, it sucks.
Hes also saying that alot of lawyers wouldnt take the case which also doesnt make sence since that could be a HUGE pay day for a lawyer

he is in orange county. about 30 mins to an hour depending on where in the OC he’s at. i almost bought some parts from him a while ago. but, nothing ever came through. good thing.
