Okay I guess I’ll say it. What’s going on with NECC? I’m sure everyone has noticed new posts counts are low, and there isn’t really much being posted on the forum in general. Also attendance seems to be dropping at events.
What’s going on? It’s dead like winter time around here.
I was thinking of another forum where I will and maybe a select other few can post info that is actually useful. Tech shit and builds to keep people looking and help with they’re builds with info that actually makes sense and is helpful. People that cant post can PM me they’re info and if its correct I will post it up with there name for the credit. Ausi forums have shit like this and its very useful to even me but I would like to see this good info in one site. This can make tons more people come to this site to look and then they will post other stuff too I’m sure. I was thinking of doing this on my worldcarlink site but on a car forum would be the best place.
If that sounds cool let me know and I can let you guys know more info.

i told my buddy about this site because hes a sponsor for other forums, and it took the admin like 2 weeks to get his forum all set up after he paid.
also, what with the meets? seems like the admin dont say anything about them anymore!
ie. the alberta meet… whats going on with that?
and what ever happened to the face lift to the forum?
I’ll be the first to apologize. We (the board and everyone else who chips in on a regular basis) haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to the club as we have in past years and it obviously shows. I don’t want to make excuses for us, but I know the handful of us who do the majority of the work have become exponentially busier outside of the club over the past fews months.
So long story short, we need HELP. So far it has been our fault for not asking. But we need trustworthy, reliable people who can pitch in to run events, moderate, etc.
I know there are a lot of you out there, so I guess now is your chance to speak up.
i’m always willing to help out if anyone needs a hand with anything, i’d say i’m pretty trustworthy
i’ve noticed that forums dropping quite a bit as well lately and we need to get some more people on here…i paid the dues wheres my stickers to recruit the new guys!
Now that I have job where the weekends are free, consider me as a helper for all track events. I’ll be a pylon bitch, flag bitch, timer, whatever is need…
I’ve already tried to be knowledgeable. but I guess I come across as an asshole…
Hell if I would be allowed Help plan monthly events.
i would be interested in helping out alot more as well. i can mod, help out with events, anything really.
I also have said I would always be able to help. When do you guys have re elections for the board of director’s positions? I know Mr. Invalid Zero is logged on here every time I am on.
I can’t really help with the events persay, due to my being too far away but I’m on the boards at least 2-3 times a day.
someone needs o se up a meeing with MORE than a day or two notice. Then maybe people will actually come and tell what they can do to help and make sure the directors are there to give the yes its a go deal and just do it.
4 people here have just offered help and I am sure there is more. That is plenty to turn this shit for the better!

Yeah I check the boards everyday at work but I don’t really have anything to contribute posting wise…
I check the site everyday, to see if there’s any questions i can answer or at least point them in the right direction, to update myself on events and to see what’s for sale . . .
I would like to help out as much as i could, i’ve got tons of time on my hands when i’m off work . . .
i drive a 07 civic si now but i still occasionally check this site out

Maybe give web a different look.
Add more sections for: diy autobody, Track time’s etc
Maybe replace monthly meets with events instead. Create a few new events.
i dunno.anyone else has suggestions.
monthly mail out news letter.
if there is one thing i have experience in it would be taking a dead board and making it live again.
word of mouth makes a huge difference, tell people to post, link threads on other boards to necc etc.
i think a big problem on this forum is the lack of help.i believe the forum should emphasize on helping others. there are so many threads where people are cut down because they ask a question that quite a few people know…instead of all those people who know telling them to search on google,they should give them the advice,or just not say anything at all.it is discouraging to new members or ones that believe enthusiasts are people with enthusiasm to help others with one common interest,but yet they are told to search elsewhere.i joined this club because i thought others would be happy to see the same enjoyment as i would for a nice nissan as i am sure many others did also.i also joined for the knowledge of other people and to use my knowledge to give to other people.i believe that if necc gets the reputation of helping club members and who care about others rides,then it will grow.
But thats just my two cents

Just seems as the interest has died off because nobody wants to go to the meets because they have got boring. If there were more discussions on the board that people contributed in, im sure there would be more traffic through it.
Its going to be hard to get sponsors for a board that nobody uses…
If you want to make a difference, why not try coming to one of these meetings…
