When sleepy eyed, headlights arnt same hight.

I have a 90, and when i put the car sleepy eyes(I have the switch htat you hold down and let go) the left (when sitting in the drivers seat) light is always about an inch higher, and when i manually adjust it it fixes it untell i use the lights again, it sits funny when all the way down to.

Any ideas? Its not a biggy its just fucking annoying.

I don’t know about the nissan setup , but the Toyota (supra ) and the mazda ( rx7 ) systems delay one motor by one or two cycles so it’s not spiking the power if both were activated at once.

it’s probably that one of your motor is dying or isn’t keeping up w/ the other one… I’ve seen 240s that have a lazy eye and one opens slower than the other one. the cause was the motor
try greesing the the rod that pushes the lights up (if I’m not mistaken)
w40 might work too

correct me if I’m wrong :expressionless:

Hey man.

Well what was stated above is a possibility there is another you can do that should help.

There is an adjustable bar on each headlight that you can use a pair of plyer’s to move the whole bar up and down. My sleepy eye was doing the same thing but after I adjusted one of them, I did’nt have the problem any more.

Hope you figure it out.

Take care.
