I’ve heard mixed reviews on indochino. In usually stick to buying local so I can try them on.
I don’t know your build type but i’m waiting for the Burberry store to put their London-line italy suits on deep discount. REg $1600, on for $800 now, i’m waiting for an additional 40-50% off. i’ll pass on anything else in the mall for suits. sometimes you can randomly come across something worthwhile at Barney’s but usually just sport coats, not suits. Their house-brand, piatelli can eat a dick, and that is basically all they have there other than poop Hugo Boss.

i walked through that smoking joe’s place… it’s for guys that are buying their first suits or who have their mom’s along for the ride. surprising for where it is but still not if you wear a suit seriously.

If you’re in NYC, I can take you to a tailor in Chinatown, fucking dude does the most amazing suits from scratch fitted to you with amazing quality for like 300 bucks… give or take.

walked into their store in Barcelona back in May… $500+ for a collared t-shirt… walked out silently. not man enough.
Was it made of gold? I could never justify that price ever, unless I was a millionaire.

it’s weird though, a guy i work with was telling me about these $385 True Religion jeans he was going to buy, which he did, but then was disgusted by a Brunello Cucinelli T-shirt that was $450 at Harry Rosen.
i wouldnt buy either one of them but still… i don’t get how jeans somehow justify spending $300 - $400 per pair but a shirt doesn’t?
i doubt i’ve ever spent more than $50 on a pair of jeans and even less on a t-shirt…
Designer jeans are expensive these days. Even Levi’s at Kohl’s seem WAY overpriced.

What is the difference between a $50 pair of Levis or 1969 jeans and a $400-500 pair. I mean are they hand stitched? Ball cooler/warmers?
Just got a suit from Riverside Mens Shop for $300 including alterations. Fits very well and is nice quality.
I also saw that a lot of the Calvin Klein suits were on sale at Macy’s for like $350, and those were 3 piece.
I should be in NYC in the next month or so will hit u up.
the true religion stuff is apparently made in the US which is cool and adds some value over china-gear.
not sure if it is all made on this side of the pond though.
