CRX absolutely out handles a 3rd gen F-bod in both auto-x and large tracks. But the 3rd gen is an overall faster car.
Yes RWD > FWD,
but, 4 wheel double wishbone > solid rear axle and unsprung masses associated with it.
Stock for stock, with oem size tires and oem tire performance I would give it to the 3rd gen for lap times with the CRX very close behind. But having a 16-17 second car keeping up with a 14 second car speaks volumes of what car HANDLES better.
Cars that have been moddified for racing, CRX hands down is faster in the corners. American Sedan (3rd gens, and mustangs with built & carbed 305s, full race suspension and race rubber) cars are rolling roablocks for ITA (I/H/E cars with race suspension and race rubber) in the corners. Obviously they get walked in the straights.
I’m pretty sure that its safe to say that everyone ignores both of you.
If this is a SERIOUS question, try again.
