I, by no means am a racing enthusiast, but wouldn’t each of these drastically different cars be best suited for completely different tracks/races/elements?
On a tight course, yes, a CRX will outhandle a 3rd gen Camaro. It was one of the top cars in autocross for years because it handles unbelievably well. It’s weight advantage against the Camaro gives it a huge advantage in handling.
That said, JustKarter in a CRX < you in a Camaro since the weight issue will be pretty much nullified.
Stock vs stock I give it to the Camaro. Especially if it’s one with the IROC package.
