Canon is head an shoulders above the competition when it comes to digital imagery.
Edit - There’s a good chance that the Canon produces a image of nearly similar quality to the Sony. MP isn’t all there is to cameras, and Canon’s sensors are top of the line.

Also check out the Fuji S2 Pro. Great camera.
If you’re getting an DSLR the size of the LCD should be your last concern.

Canon out of those 3…
and LCD is only used for review anyways.
note:
you can’t use the LCD screen for taking pictures (clarifying what MicaH said)

Thanks for all the replies fellas. I am gonna consider the Nikon D80. The D200 is a bit much since I am just starting out and wont be able to use all the features.

Out of curiosity, what do you shoot with?
d50/d70 hands down, shot both as well as a digital rebel and the d series were the best.
I got the XT. Canon makes the best lenses, and they have a huge selection of lenses.
If you want to see my camera, see how it looks, shoots, etc… pm me.
www.sonikphoto.com if you want to see some pics taken by the XT.
