Which tv would you buy?

I just purchased a 55" Vizio XVT553SV for the lady and I’s living room. It’s an LED-LCD 240hz. Went everywhere in the capital region to track it down. After getting the run around from SAMs club who had the best price, I ended up purchasing it from walmart in Saratoga. This tv won Cnet editors choice award for 2010. For my budget it was between this unit or a 60" LG Plasma that had less than half as many features as the Vizio. The LG pq was real nice in the store and I really liked it. Only thing that made me go with the Vizio is the features such as its built in wi-fi and Internet apps like the capability to stream Netflix, vudu, pandora etc. My dad has the top of the line 62" pioneer plasma and I think after watching that it has ruined it for me. Honestly that tv is out of this world And I have yet to see anything to compare to it. But now I’m getting a bit annoyed with the Vizio and I’m considering returning it. It has a setting on it called smooth motion which is supposed to cause less juttering during slow camera pans for example but it makes it even choppier. Also it makes the image appear like a soap opera shot in video instead of film. Ive only watched DVDs so far on it in 1080i but my hd direct tv will be hooked up this week. I turned off the smooth motion and it seemed to work but now it just acts like a normal 60hz LCD tv so I feel that all those features now fell short. Anyone else with a Vizio experience this or have any tips to solve it?

UPDATE: I did some research after this post and found out how to fix the problem. Just have to turn off the smooth motion and real cinema effects in the advanced picture settings. But I’m stil not happy with the picture quality compared to a plasma because the picture is still sometimes choppy and laggish. So as long as walmart can refund me than I think I’m going to return this set and buy a 58" samsung plasma from best buy. It’s this samsung: PN58C550G1F. I bought the Vizio about 13 days ago, anyone know walmarts return policy on Tv’s?
