I love my new job and pay - People say it is the next biggest thing for Lockport/Buffalo since the Erie Canal lol.
This thread seems like it’s half about liking your job, and half about liking the benefits/perks of your job. Personally, I like my job 90% of the time, and I’m talking about the actual work involved, along with the field I am in.
I love my Job.
I work for the Buffalo Sewer Authority and fucking love it, never feel like calling in or not going to work. The days go by quick and I will have a pension when I retire. Im home by 3:45 everyday with weekends ad holidays off, that really matters to me with starting a family.
hate my job.
working at a toy store can sound fun, but for shitty pay, shitty hours, and annoying parents its almost not worth it.
although, fucking my boss’ daughter was pretty awesome :tup:
I like my job. I do what the fuck I want to do, and can change my schedule at the drop of a hat. In the office about an hour every two weeks to turn in my expense report and check my mail box, say hi to a few people. Like every job, it still has it’s ups and downs. Can’t really complain too much though.
Instrested to see how much of a fun commute that is this winter 
I should be out there again sometime in September to turn up another 10Gb connection
I really can’t complain about my job. It’s kind of an entry to mid level Tech job that offers a ton of experience. My boss will get us pretty much anything we want, we don’t really deal with too much shitty equipment. I do wish I made more cash however.
I get to help hot housewives pick out colors. Sweet/boring.

Sounds similar to what I do, except I hate my job. I’m a contractor for the federal gvmt doing financial services. You hate yourself ever day, but you get off a ton of time, and have good benefits.
I’m looking to relocate, maybe work at University that will pay for my MBA.
I like my job, but hate the hours. The standard day is 7:30-5:00 and I am here late a lot. I don’t make as much as I would like, but at least I have a job. It seems like every time I look at the clock it is at least 4:00, the action never stops, and it can be extremely stressful. I can leave whenever I want, but the work still has to be done. If a project is due on a certain date, I have to do whatever it takes to get it done. The perks are sweet though… Nice office, phone, company truck, gas, 401, health etc…
I don’t hate my job, but It is just a job. I’m looking to go back to school but as of now Both jobs are taking up all my free time.

Love my job … and everything about it … working on buses is a breeze … but if ya talk to the 20+ year vets … its like they are locked in a prison camp
Thats typical with most places. My dad has a CAKE job with the Post Office and some of the guys he works with are the most miserable people. He says that they bitch and moan about changing a roll of paper towels or other trivial tasks while they are on the clock making $25+ per hour.
I wish my commute was shorter
driving 45-50 minutes either way kinda sucks. I put over 20k miles on my car this past year.
i make battery materials and figure out how to make them better. hoorah.
