On the way to work, I saw a bike flying down 119, then a cop car with lights and sirens, then 3 more with lights and sirens. :eek4: Although bike > police cars on the highway.
Just got back from seeing a state cop that crashed while chasing them. The car crashed by megan ford on 119. The cop is Ok but I feel bad for any of u guys who ride bike around here. There are alot of pissed off cops tonight. The cop crash because of a blown out tire. will have pics later from the accident scene later.

good that he got away, bad that a cop wrecked. I have no love for cops, but they are just doin their jobs and generally speaking I wish them no bodily harm. Although there are some that let their power go to their head. Those are the ones that need fucked up.

meh, 119 is a wide open stretch of highway. Not like half the people on this board havent done at least 130mph on 119 at one time or another… :dunno:

the thing is… why even waste your time chasing a sportbike? every cop i ever talked to about this says its pointless… that 8 out of 10 times someone gets into a accident… and 2nd of all. sportbike>po car… wtf was he thinking? radio ahead and get a road block… don t actlike your crown vic’s even half the speed of the sportbike…
i saw the accident and thought i heard the cop died but i was wrong… either way i feel bad for the cop but he’s an asshole for trying to kill the rider… its just common rule of thumb…
you have a weapon when riding a bike… and speed kills under confusion… and paranoia… AND I CAN T SPELL!!
ANYWAY… this is just my opinion and even the past cops i talked to opinions…

You were speeding. You got caught. Be a man and own up to your penalty or don’t gamble.

I believe there was a simalar converastion about this back on one of the old versions of pittspeed where a guys blocked a bike in down in oakland and people were crying the guy in the car was an asshole and should have let the bike run :rolleyes:

because bike riders are invisible and dont do no wrong. People on bikes think there the shit until something bad happens to them and then they wanna know why me. As for the cop chasing the bike maybe there was more to the story of why he was chasing him. I think if anyone has a tire blow out even at 65mph they will have the samething happen to them as did the cop.
what would of happened if the biker took off doing over a 100 mph and killed a family in the minivan…how would you guys feel then
most cops are nice guys just think what would be going on now if there wasnt any…

The only reason why cops become ass holes is because of ass holes like last night. People want cops to serve and protect and they do. Just like people in the military a cop life is on the line everyday and one could of lost his life because of some ass hole riding his bike and acting all cool and shit. I really feel bad for anyone in this area who rides bikes because I know there are alot of pissed off cops.
