Pain in the ass, worse that my pan is kick only and I hae to play with the dizzy to get it to fire. It don’t matter how I jet it or adjust it its awlays rich.

Perhaps I should get my pipes sorted out before trying to monkey with this carb then, rather than having to rejet it again. Hopefully it’s not too much of a problem, but since I can’t get it to idle at the moment I don’t have any idea how it rides, so that may be another thing to deal with.
definitely sort out the rest of the bike first if you can…carb tuning is a pain in the nuts to begin with…I mean, getting it running good as-is would be a good way to learn, but you’ll be pissed once you get it and then make a change to the breathing of the motor and have to do it all over again. just be thankful it’s one carb, I’ve got 4 and have to keep all of them sync’d up with each other.
