you guys argue with people over the internet. its nothing but a big waste of time if someone like travis bothers you ignore him. i don’t have any idea why i joined this forum its the same as all the others. nothing but a waste of my time none of you can talk to each other without starting some stupid argument, why? if you think your right whats there to argue about. its seams like nobody has anything worth talking about or anything informational. if anybody has anything to add to this negative or positive please feel free just try to make it intelligent or you will be ignored.

This forum, as with all things in life, is as good or bad as you make it. I certainly don’t think we’re going to discover the meaning of life on shift518, however, it is a form of entertainment and to me that is hardly a waste of time. If you have expectations of having some void filled in your life from a local car forum there are deeper problems then the forum itself.
Freud says that we criticize others on traits we secretly dislike about ourselves. Every time you criticize someone, if your capable of looking honestly at yourself, I would strongly suspect you possess the very trait you dislike in another.
I’m just going to point out that I personally don’t care how well your spelling and grammar skills are. As long as I can understand what you said then it’s good enough for me. Spending time proof-reading a post on a car forum is a joke. I’d rather be accused of being a bad speller than spend that extra time checking my post for errors.
there are a couple bad apples here (as with every forum), but it’s incredibly unfair and childish to assume everyone is the same.
I think the issue is making references of speaking intelligently when you make a post with 4th grade spelling mistakes. Typically, I don’t care much unless I am being a ball breaker. I do think there is a different between fixing typos and sounding JDM thug style though.

I agree though you have to make a car forum what you want it to be. No one makes you get into senseless arguments. I always just stay away from them, unless I am super bored…like now.

yes there are a hand full of people on here that like to argue amongst others, and hold grudges against one another…but on the other hand people use this forum to increase their knowledge on cars and such.
its people like you that make me laugh coming on here and making a whole damn thread on how this forum sucks, who has a problem with who bla bla bla…get a fuckin tampon.
I could go into a long spiel into why forums are not a waste of time, but I wont.
If you don’t like the drama that goes on here, stay out of Battlefield and you should be in good shape.
But if you cant take the heat at all… stay out of the kitchen.
There is plenty of information on here that anybody (even you) can find useful and entertaining.
