Thought I would be good today. Went out and put the bike on the center stand and began polishing the bars and holy SHIT. Another louisville slugger to the jaw.

Woke up at 3am last night with excruciating pain and a mouthful of blood. My sheets and pillow were SOAKED as well. I am no pussy when it comes to blood, but when that much is coming out of you for no reason it does make you worry a little.
I put a cotton gauze on it for about 2 and a half hours to no avail. I sat on my bed holding my jaw in pain (and soaking up the blood) while my mom called the surgeon. He called back and said he would meet us at the office around 6am. I am thankful for this guy otherwise i’d probably be out of blood by now.
So my mommy drove me to the doctor and he took a look. After injecting my face with what seemed like gallons of anesthesia (I am still numb right now from it), the pain finally subsided and the doctor began his work. Apparently what happened was somehow I might have bit the wound in my sleep causing bleeding underneath the clot that was already formed. Since no air was able to get to the wound, it just kind of seeped out around the existing clot and didn’t stop. So, what the doctor did (after numbing the area) was remove the old clot and clean the area up, and then applied some stitches to seal up the wound. As soon as he did that, the bleeding subsided. He prescribed me antibiotics and some Codeine and sent me on my way, fixed up and happy (despite the fact that I had a cheekful of cotton and a numb face but I can deal with that).
So there’s my little story for this thread if anybody cares to even read it. :lol
