You were too fast for my camera’s shutter. I could only get pictures of the slow cars. :headbang:
damn, im siqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq
Mike (drove the white 350z) and Dave (drove the brown e30) both took pictures during the day. It may take them a day or two to get them online though.

Thanks to everyone for being so friendly! I don’t think I was out of my car before Cassie came to say hi. Then I went home and bragged to my fiance that I met a blonde that races a Porsche with pink wheels.

It was funny, I was changing my tires and I said to Mike “Keep your eyes open for a Jetta, guy named James I’m gonna go introduce myself.” He’s like “Oh yeah, red Jetta, just pulled in.” And there you were!
That was my first event rocking the new wheels. I’m totally in love with how they came out, and got a MILLION compliments throughout the day. I’m going for the most stylish autocrosser award I literally giggled everytime I walked up to my car before a run.
Fastest time of the day for me was a 56.4. Didn’t hit a single cone all day, either. Well… I did hit one, but it stayed in the box
yikes… the results for my runs are skewwed… i didnt hit any cones all day… it doenst matter cuz it onyl bumps me one spot and i dont really care… but thats kinda frustrating
This happens every event. As soon as I post results, someone says they weren’t off course or hit cones on this or that run. From now on, if your times matter to you, stick around at the event, check your times, and let me know then and there.
As for why you finished so low - part of it is tires, and part of it is not pushing your car harder. Are you riding along with better drivers to get a perspective of what you should be doing?
a pic from my day…
GTi-R, M5, NSX…
But I got lazy and didn’t take any myself so I will have to wait until more get uploaded so I can leech (and not thread hijack ).
How was the food? Did those fuckers mess it up?
Garick I see you viewing this thread, RVD tomorrow in Bell @ 2PM.

Food was there - a little later than I like it (not in time for breakfast ).
GTi-R??? RHD and everything!
Going though the pics now.
Anyone who accuses me of color commentary or tire smoke is full of it…:snky:

Jay I think you gave me whiplash! Riding in your car was an absolute blast! Thanks for all the instruction. http://new.photos.yahoo.com/the_traveling_engineer/album/576460762400637728

I just wish I would have driven better when I took you for a ride along. That was only my 3rd autocross in that car, and the first on such a low traction surface. I’m still very used to the Fiero that could be tossed much easier, and that you could go full throttle pretty much whenever you wanted without wheelspin.
