Jim does wny have select people instructing every event similar to flr?
If someone does want someone experienced to ride with them how do they know who is experienced enough?
First, SMALLER SIG - I think it’s limited to 100x500 or something like that.
As for instructors, well, there isn’t a pool of instructors like FLR, but then again, we don’t run the novices in one group like FLR either. There is always someone hanging around grid that is qualified to get you around the course. When instructing first timers, the most important thing is to keep them following the course, and anyone with a few years of experience is capable of that…ok, maybe not ANYone…but you get the idea. If you are looking for faster times, then you may need to talk to a specific person about going with you.
Newbies - feel free to walk up to ANYONE and ask them if they’d be willing to help you out. If you see someone on course turn in a really good time, find them and ask them to go with you on your next run. Most likely, everyone will say yes, or get you another instructor that’s just as good. We grow in skill as a group, and we help each other out. So don’t be afraid to ask for help when you aren’t sure of something.
yeah man, I didn’t realize til the 5th run i was even going off. honestly, i think i was missing some stupid gate around the turnaround. usually i do alright, it’s been a bit, but you know, i used to post reasonable times with my a4.
