I guess overall I’m not super excited with my results. My tires felt like goddamn loafs of bread by the 3rd run, and that was really frustrating. I hope to see a big improvement next event when I have some decent tread.

that mid section with the “big” (for ecc) sweepers was pretty fast for that location. anytime i’m debating 3rd gear at ecc i consider that fast for ecc…

yea man, you need real tires those all seasons are not helping you one bit :stuck_out_tongue:

i’m not sure if the 93x is 5x100 or 5x114 but if its 114 you can borrow my “street” setup (stock sti tires) to see that with better rubber you’d def be quicker. they’re not great but they would be much sticker than what you were on.

lol thanks - i totally forgot i brought my camera until the event was over… there was so much down time with heats that i wish i had remembered, would have been a great way to pass the time!

Yeah next time I prereg for an event I’ll try not to get trashed in Rochester the night before, losing the will to drive to ECC for the autox >.<

ouch…no times. did you know before the end that you were going off every run? probably the same mistake every run. Bring a passenger along next time or ride with somebody a few times

When in doubt, we are all here to help out. Just ask whoever is doing grid for an instructor and they’ll get someone for you.
