Worst speeding tickets

free 407, you badass

yea yeah, the question was, what was your fastest speeding ticket.

I think you have one of the highest on SON, iirc.[/quote]

i was gonna say… if were listing total tickets… i probly have a lot of people beat, if were listing total time pulled over… i have EVERYONE beat.

of times I’ve been pulled over, I wouldn’t mind trying you an that one. I got pulled over 1 weekend fri, sat, sun, mon, and only got a fail to have ins. card becuase I left it in my pants and not the console from the 3rd pull over.

I’ve been pulled over 3 times for “oops I punched in the wrong plate # and it came back stolen”… 3 times for we’ve had a report of a suspicious vehichle,

and wait, let me pull out my abstract;

55 in 40
140 in 100
110 in 80
109 in 60
susp.
158 in 100 (knocked down from 172)
susp.
ins. card X2
careless
demerit point susp.
100 in 60
careless (dangerous reduced)

Holy moly!

I haven’t even been pulled over in my 240 yet…but my car looks mostly stock and I only push my car on very selective occasions…such as cruising with a Ferrari doing 170 km/h… 8) But I guess i’ve been kind of lucky.

Wow…Bing must have the lowest Insurance Cost : # of Tickets ratio!

Any contenders?

the first summer i had my audi 90 turbo… i stop counting my number of times being pulled over at 130 something over an 6 month period… iwas getting pulled over 3 plus times a nite sometimes…

longest time being pulled over for a single offence was 2 am to 5 am for a 110 in an 80.

ended up getting off the ticket and getting a summons for an etest… i never went…

240sx netted me

6 exhuast tickets
3 horn tickets
2 impropper tires
75 in a 50
4 mto inspections
car was inspected at wb16th twice by mto and was found to be in fine working order

at the time the car was

missing the heater core
no windshile wipers
no cat
no front rebar
no passenger seat
ziptied front bumper and fenders
no horn
blah blah blah

stupid cars

holy sh*t, i never thought the coppers were this intense. I’ve never been pulled over, but that might be becasue i live in Burlington??

Paging Sasha.

i was going 61 in a 50, following a big group of traffic, cop walked out of a street and pulled me over…still waiting my court date…

i like cops, i hate traffic enforcers haha…neways i told the cop thanks alot and he said why, i said for waisting my time with thie pathetic ticket. so he gave me a speel about w.e so i drove off and made sure he heard my loud exhaust

I"ve only been pulled over twice in the 240, the first time was when i got nailed running a stop sign like literally 2 seconds from my house and the second time was a case of mistaken identity which resulted in a exhaust ticket and a big lecture from some newbie cop how my car was unsafe for the road cuz it was too low and blah blah blah…oh ya thanks Greg!

i dont understand how you could get pulled over 3 times a night, it just doesnt make sense?

i’ve been pulled over once (no tickets) and my exhaust is louder than 99% of people on this board (as everyone who’s heard it knows) and i drive like an idiot most of the time regardless of where and when.

haha np alex. always glad to help lol

so question. who do u guys go to to fight off your tickets? do it yourself? what insurance company are you with?

lol…

best part is, even if i get tickets now i will defer them past my next renewal date. when the renewal date comes up i will have one of the tickets off my record and one will just appear on there so there will be no change…

however, i’ll be married so that will reduce the premiums.

the next time around i will be 25+ so it will go down again.

if i can try and be slightly more disciplined and not get AS MANY tickets in the next year as i usually do in the course of a year then i will likely be under $100 a month pretty soon.

fyi… for my last ticket i took a day off work and drove over an hour to court to fight it. if you are not willing to do that then you deserve to be at the whim of the system

btw… anyone else thing we should move this to the members section?

^^
YES!

hahaha, same shit here… I actually just did that (waited out the ticket as long as possible = 2 months, then 1 more for a court date and then in court I asked for 90 days to pay = 3 more months)

ticket gets dropped from my record… I renaw my policy and then go pay my “fresh” ticket… Then in 6 months when it expires I get another ticket off “then the fresh one on” and no change

moved to members due to sensitive subject matter

Greg, I don’t think it counts when your dad is pulling into your driveway behind you
