I would rather have herpes then consider this trade. Fuck, I’d rather have full blown AIDS, not that waek pussy fart HIV shit, FULL BLOWN AIDS. Because you might have contracted full blown AIDS in a cool fashion, like fucking some hot whore who was in porn at one time, or from a 14 year old Asian hooker. But voluntarily doing this trade will always result in a story of “Yeah, I traded my S4 and $4.5K to some faggot for his faggoted out GTi.” And that will always be a shitty fucking story.
lol…all the stock parts are included…
Eh you’re still out 4.5k to get rid of a car. If you didn’t aspire or want to own a Gti don’t do it. They are great but why spend money to get rid of one car you don’t want for another you dont want.
FWIW, in my experience, your S4 with 150k on it, is a timing chain time bomb. I have yet to run into anything major with a late FSI/early TSI GTi.
Also, here’s some math to think about.
Thats what i am getting at…my car being a bomb…although it isnt showing any signs…ps where is the math
Math…average auction values of both car, yours being 6400 and the GTI being 12,750, miles taken into consideration on both.
To give up your car plus cash on top and you’re NOT in love with the car, then no.
talk him down some more to the point where its worth it
he has your car listed as something he wants so you have the control for the most part
That’s what I’ve been saying!!!
The parts on that thing would move easily, the 4.5k you can make back pretty quickly.
i think im going to pull the trigger just deciding when to meet up with this kid
The fuck they will! VW kids are the biggest bunch of cheap fggts on the planet. “Oh, you want actual money for a product?” FUCK THOSE FGGTS
Trading one car you’re having trouble selling for another car that will require more work to sell is always a good idea.
I guess you might be able to add value to the GTI by returning it to stock and selling off the performance parts, in which case there is some logic to this. If you assume the performance parts are worth more off the car than on it anyway. Hopefully there’s no hidden problems on the GTI that you don’t find until you own it.
So much fucking around just to off a sub $10k car. :picard:
In the OP’s defense, he’s been trying to sell that S4 for a pretty long time. If I were him, I would be looking to get rid of it anyway I could.
I agree with most of this, im ok with driving it for awhile mostly my motivation is to get rid of mine and i am not having much luck at my price so i feel as if i make this deal i am losing less than if i just keep dropping the price on my s4 until it sells.
Exactly
Start by posting it on not NYCheap
Well in that case… YOLO, may as well do it. Who knows maybe you’ll like the Gti
If it is taking too long to sell a car you are clearly asking too much.
X…
Meh i dont know if i completly agree with you granted it hasnt sold but after looking around it is the cheapest s4 i have seen across the US. I have even seen them with bad motors go for 8k on ebay…
