2 PS2s (All died from the standard disc read error about one year apart, the 3rd one seems to be good after two.)
It’s more luck of the draw in a lot of cases. To put it in easily understandable car terms. Some will own a Toyota and have constant issues, and some can own a DSM with little issues.
