:stuck_out_tongue:

hahahaha I PAID $2000 for a XBOX THAT CRASHES!!!W HEAD AH-SPLODED!!!

suprised?

Not surprising. Most systems have issues when first launched.

yep yep

but these are mechanical failures.

Don’t tell me how to do my job, bitch!!

The ones on Slashdot are reporting in-game errors, not like the other thread…

lol this isfunny for all the suckers that went and waited in line for hours straight and got a defective 360.

seems like a overheating issue, 6-8 weeks for a replacement from M$

lol…

i think ill wait my current xbox will do fine till then.

after seeing how small it is, and how much was crammed in to it (see the other thread posted here) cooling looked like it could be a big issue

— A Ballmerable Snowman —

Steve Ballmer is led onto a stage in chains and dangerous, he seems to be pacified by a rather large contingent of middle managers.

On the other side of the stage, Bill Gates is demonstrating the XBOX 360. The press is eating it up. The audience is on its feet. Suddenly the XBOX bursts into flames. Ballmer sees the flames and reacts with a violent primal rage. He explodes from his restraints with the strength of a hundred men. Rampaging through the audience, he effortlessly tears up rows of chairs, heaving them in every direction. Then, he turns on the people. He grabs each person by their ankles, turns them upside-down, and shakes the money out of their pockets. Bill Gates is speaking over the public adress “Please remain calm. The situation is under control.” It’s of no use. Panic has ensued.

By this time, Ballmer is stomping around the arena, masturbating wildly, and crushing everyone and everything. Few survive. Finally, sweat-drenched and exhausted, he returns to the stage where he cuddles with his harem of developers.

ROFL!!

Yeah i meant first gen failures are normally related to mechanical bs
games fucking hard crashing is something a bit new

i wasn’t refering to a thread merger

steve ballmer is a fat fuck retard that takes his job way too seriously.

loEL

That’s Ballmer at any press conference!!! The man is a hyper-active sweatgland. All he does is run around stage screaming and profusely sweating. Its actually unsettling to watch most the time.

Back on topic:
What I’ve seen so far is that roughly 15% of the systems are having issues with mostly overheating. My one friend picked one up, a bunch of us were playing Perfect Dark til about 5 in the morning (I know, NIIIIIAAAAAHHHH!) and didn’t have a single problem. And at the end of all that, I finally took a close look at the system, and it didn’t even feel warm to the touch (aside from the air blowing out the back). However, another friend of mine picked up a 360 from the same store, and when he finally started playing it, it would shut down about every 10 minutes… no matter what he tried.

As Minglor said though, I’m not really surprised. The PS2 at launch had a few problems: disc read errors, over heating, etc. And remember the PSPs with the dead pixel issues  The only company that doesn’t have any major issues at launch is Nintendo, but they’re Nintendo… so who cares :stuck_out_tongue:

Mines still crated up in the box, cant break that way

Mines been fine so far, just put it through its paces for a few hours yesterday :gotme:

:word:

Ahh good old quality microsoft products. This is why I’m going to wait on teh PS3 when it comes out… let gen1 happen… then let the price come down, and problems get fixed… then I will have one.
