I am thinking about picking up a cheaper 1080p TV for my room here. Is it true the only unit that can output 1080p is a Elite edition of the 360?
Also, who on here can mod one ASAP? I don’t have a desktop anymore so I am unable to mod them.

Yes. I still have the SATA card that can unlock any drive so I can use Windows XP tower PC.
I will let you know what I end up doing. I just have begun to take up looking at a new TV and Xbox 360 Elite with my bonus and raise this month.

nope… I think all of them can now. It was just the earlier generation that didn’t have the ability out of the box. Either way, I don’t think anything is rendered in 1080 anyway.

They all support 1080p, even the older ones.
OK just asking about it becuase only the Elite is advertised with its video card and 1080p graphics that I did not see on the Arcade or Pro/Premium consoles.
Vista 32 bit or 64 bit? If its 64 I might need to find different drivers.

I actually was reading and seems like I might be able to do BenQ drives with my eSATA port. Kinda intrested in finding a eSATA to SATA cable and trying this.

when the firmware comes out. im not gonna do drive swapping as it’s a longer process and i’ve read that microsoft can detect swapped drives.

yea the liteon drives are the newest drives. they’re not flashable…yet. the fireware to mod it will be out this month.

Wait, is there a firmware patch for the lite-on coming out. I thought it was still a ways off until someone came up with a way to read it (Besides drive swapping, and reading the key via serial port)?
Side note, what options rae there for wireless without buying the damn adapter for 99 bucks. I only have WiFi in my apartment and it is G capable.
