yes iextreme 1.5 is coming out soon that will be able to mod the liteon. you still need to be able to extract the key from the drive which requires other equipment. once you get it, you will be able to flash the liteon with 1.5. they’re just working on getting all the bugs out now, but they expect it to be released real soon.
So no word on a software dump of the key huh? I’m guessing now that they have the firmware dumped they’ll find a way to dump the keys.
they say that they’ve created a program to use through windows that will let you mod any of the drives, including the liteon
I have a wireless adapter you can have for $70.
No thinks. I am thinking about picking up a wireless bridge that has the network cable on one side and the wireless on the other that you just configure. Cheaper and easy. Most I am looking to spend on a wireless adapter is $40
iextreme 1.5 will be released on christmas day. just announced on xbox-scene

Ok going to Best Buy and getting a 360 and wireless adapter.
Is there a difference between the elite and premium?
The elite has the 120GB hard drive vs the 60 and a free HDMI cable. Can I output the same using the standard cable that comes with the premim or is 1080p only available over HDMI? Also, what can the HD be used for if I am not downloading stuff from live?
music and you can copy game discs to your hd now, so the disc doesn’t have to spin constantly.
Since the fall update you’ve been able to install games to the hard drive. It still requires the disk to start the game (anti-piracy stuff) but loads faster and runs much quieter during the game.
Hmm…intresting…
Anyone know about the video output over Composite vs HDMI?
Also, does the elite include both the HDMI and the composite inputs?
composite does 720 max. and hdmi does 1080 but there are only a select few games that show up 1080
pretty sure the composite will do 720p, hdmi will do 1080p
pretty sure the elite only comes with HDMI, but not 100% sure
Elite comes with both AFAIK from what I looked up and pictures of the box. It would really limit its market sale if it didn’t IMO.
I used to do composite to 1080i on my old TV in college and that was fine and before it had the HDMI port.
