Component = Red/Green/Blue cables for video:
That will support up to 1080i, but not 1080p.

my thinking is “composite” is the colors that make up the picture and component is the components of the system (audio and video).
Oh well. At least 3 / 4 people knew what i was talking about. lol
Mangling A/V terms makes me feel like I’m in Best Buy listening to a “sales” person.

turned my old buffalo router into a wireless LAN bridge (for multiple wired connections) in 3 minutes flat. dd-wrt, even with that clean GUI…after several hours could never make it happen.
I just use the network cable>laptop>wireless in laptop sharing and it gets me on live with great speeds. Just screws up some nat issues but still matchmaking and everything works fine.
My brother in law was doing that through his desktop and was getting horrible lag. His desktop isn’t real fast though. As soon as he switched over to the MS wireless adapter his lag disappeared. Previously I had gone through his desktop settings to speed it up as much as possible, as well as the router configs, but nothing got rid of the lag.
