Good lawyers can tell when somebody is a liar. harharhar.
A degree from Cornell certainly speaks for itself, but I may be a little biased.
Many people in Buffalo lack vision.

150k in what part of the country? 150K isn’t the same in Boston as it is here.
Anyone can be successful anywhere, if you’re not making what you want to be making that’s becuase you’re not doing something. It’s not your jobs fault you’re sitting in a dead end posistion or haven’t had a raise in 2 years…fuck. If you don’t take chances when you’re young b/c you’re “comfortable” with mediocrity you’ll be 40 and pissed off at your stagnant career.
Look, I’m sympathetic to the high school drop out mom working 3 min-wage jobs to feed her kids…or the guy that fucked up and is trying to put his life together. I feel for the people working for that slave labor rate we call a minimum wage…but seriously now, you have a college degree stop fucking bitching and go do something with your life. Do you know how many people on this board are financially very successful without one? Howie, Jack, Zer0daze, just to name a few.
If you’re not making what you want with any sort of college education it’s because you’re doing something wrong, not b/c the job market sucks.
I’ve been saying this for a while, but if you’re making under 10 or 12 dollars an hour and you think you’re a reasonably smart person, you’re doing something wrong.
Shit lie on your resume…if it takes flash and sparkle to get a job fucking lie…the only way you’re going to get in trouble for it is if you suck at the job. I know people who are 7 years into huge paying jobs and they lied their ass off on the resume to get that job…but they keep getting raises…because they get the fucking job done. No one actually cares what your degree is in or even if you have one, all a company cares about is having the best person to do the job. You think any of the other board of directors are worried about Bill Gates fucking up microsoft b/c he’s a college drop out?
OH and another thing, why do you expect to be pulling in the big bucks right out of college? Seriously, wtf. Experience trumps everything. Work a couple shitty jobs in the field you want to work in and if they dont promote you quit and use that experience to demand more money at your next job.
:word:
I think raising minimum wage is a fucking joke. Why shoulkd they make minimum wage so damn comfortable? Why are these people worth more money now than they were last year? They fucking aren’t. Minimum wage is an incentive to fucking get a real job… not to raise a family on.
it is true, if you have 1/2 a brain, and you aren’t making $10+ an hour, you don’t have 1/2 a brain./
