my eclipse sucks in traffic, ACT 2900 with a 4-puck unsprung disc
I will not own a vehicle that is not manual (unless it happens to be given to me). Actually owned an auto 626 GT and went as far as swapping it to manual.
my cutless is clean as a fucking wistle
i learned how to drive a manual vehicle in a 1979 toyota Celica, i was about 10 or so my first manual vehicle was a 1990 nissan pick’em up when i was 15.
Car I learned to drive stick in: 70s Corolla (1300 not the 1600) w/ 4 spd. It looks like the red thing here:
First car I owned (5 spd):
I posted my first legit manual car registered in my name however my first experience with a manual was in a 1990 Ford Escort. The first manual vehicle owned by me was a 1988 Suzuki Samurai.
92 Civic
Mine was a 1990 Dodge Daytona. I LOVED that car. Shitty domestic motor though. Absolutely horrible. The paint was dick too.
However, it depends on where you live. Down in NYC, manual is horrible. I can’t imagine a manual SUV either… But, that’s just me.
In regards to pure driving, the feelin of a manual makes me feel like I am actually controlling the car.
I bet you had the same haircut as the guy standing over it too.
1990 Ford Probe GT Turbo
85 GTI
Learned how to drive stick working for Hoffman car wash in the early 90’s
I don’t remember the first manual I drove… yes, it was THAT long ago. First manual I owned started as an auto until I did the 5 speed conversion on it. '90 Passat
90 Integra LS
I was thinking about doing a 6spd HLSD from a 02-03 Maxima but I decided against it. I can only imagine how nice it would have been though…
i wanted that LSD for the SER but it never happened.
omg the failboat maxima is autotragic too? fuck
Failboat? Hardly.
Autotragic? Sometimes, unfortunately. Other times, luckily.
I learned on my wife’s old 99 ford contour and my brothers WRX. Now I drive an '03 350Z with a 6spd, and wouldn’t have it any other way.
why because it’s been on a calendar and an eBay ad?
