ya im gonna have someone come over and weld some patches in for me. theres a hole on each strut tower. but right now im more concerned with the busted ass bearing on the crank
why would this be a concern if you are replacing the engine?
the busted bearing is on the SR20
oh no… i guess this is why you don’t get engines from Osaka. Hopefully they will warranty the engine.
well the engine is past the useless 30 day start up warranty so im beat there, but I am gonna keep bitching until they send me the CAS that i never received. Fortunately I found someone with a block that has good bearings,crank etc that im hopefully pickin up this week for $100. And hes local so im not gonna get raped on heavy shipping.

ya im gonna try to call osaka on my lunch break today and tell them that unless they want Mr. Pennsylvania outside their gates with a shotgun, they better send me the parts they left out. =)

apparently you dont know about osaka motors. they have ripped off an imense number of 240sx owners and gotten away with it. they dont know any better because people keep ordering their garbage motors.

ya i got eff’d on my cas also , the plate was broke from the accident the car was in before they cut it :greddy:

ya i have heard that , but i bought a honda engine off them a couple years ago and had no problems with the transaction/engine whatsoever. So I thought id go back to them. Well anyways, i called and the “parts guy” that i needed to talk to is out to lunch, “please call back 1 hour”
ive read that osaka supplies their garbage engines to alot of canadian middlemen since their name is so tarnished. i dont know ab out you guys but ordering an engine that i have never seen with my own eyes makes me nervous.
