460whp SR20DET Stock internals

So sick !

MAFS ftmfw

I agree with you completly , it can feel like a lot of power , but i do know the difference, thanks… i know alot of factors can come into play , gearing , weight , power curve… i dunno if itsa been taken to the track… i just slapped the parts on it , and had a tuner tune it , i guess u could say i built it like some shops do… but really i just installed a bunch of parts and got someone else to tune it… i understand that u might think ur king shit , but next time please do not be condesending towards what i have said , im not a noob… and im not some fanboy… thank you

and last time i checked you dont need to go to the track to beat the living fuck out of your car … but hey what do i know …

The difference with me is that i have alot of experience with mechanical and electrical, i will push an engine safely to what i feel it can do.

If you would like give me a call i can put an engine together that will stay in one piece after im done building and tuning.

I miss the feeling of low boost feeling like so much more. Now it doesn’t do enough for me :(. This is balls to the wall in an SR.

Did i say something that offended you ? I’m pretty sure i never called you a Noob, or a Fan Boy (regardless of what other people may say)- I never said you NEEDED to go to the track to beat the shit out of your car. I did however ask if the car had any track experience or 1/4 times to see what that range of power could do - I never said i was King Shit… i don’t really know where you came up with that one…

I’m pretty sure i was stating that making that kind of power on a stock motor and having it be reliable is CONVENIENT, when all you need is to swap out a stock SR for another if it blows - and you wont need to build a crazy motor… Relax Hector

lol

radek is the king of safe tune and stock block lol at least in ontario, that ka that u built and tuned which made 344 whp at 15 psi was rock solid turbo seals went but thats another story too bad my cousin is parting that car

I think thats only 15 hp away from the world record for stock SR ,which is 475. bloody well done ,mate!

awesome tuning showcase, but for a sr with stock internals @ 475hp for the best record? that’s lower than a KA-t record of 528whp from what I’ve heard on a stock ka24de.

im very relaxed thank you, sorry but i felt that your post was condesending and that u were trying to be a dick… thats all i have to say

Nah man, that number can’t be right. I made 441 at 19psi with my car 3 years ago. I could easily have pushed that setup to well over 500 wheel if I ran something other than pump gas.

SR’s are stout. That same motor then went into Vlad’s drift car and lasted the last 2 years at about 400 wheel, drifting professionally.

Well done Radek and team, obviously a nice setup here.

I’m hoping Radek can tune my RB20 just as well as that SR. lol

That SR needs straight pipe though! To quiet!!!

Sick shit none the less!!!

Hey Radek,

Just a question, I may of missed it but what type of fuel was used in that run?

Tuning the rb20det is pretty easy, you wont even need an aftermarket ecu as the stock ecu is chip tunable.

Nitescream: Tune was done on 94 octane.

Yeah, I remember you telling me that when you guys dyno’d her back in October.

Just getting a set of cams, metal HG, studs, freshen up stock injectors and hopefully an RB25 turbo. Should be good for 300whp??? No?

Edit: I already have a daughter board in place.

Yeah i didnt think the record was 475 not too hard to reach.

I have a mint rb25 turbo at the shop, came of my motor, only issue is you wont be able to run more than 14psi with the rb25 turbo, as the ceramic turbine wheel will fly apart.
