You mean on the RB20 turbo…RB20 is ceramic…RB25 is steel.

Or am I wrong???

rb25 turbo shaft is made out of a light ceramic material…

WOW…thats not what PUR did to my car…i left the shop with my car in pieces and with extensive damage done to my vehicle.

So…in reality. Its really not any better then a 20

Stock RB25 turbo:

Compressor
48mm inducer x 66mm major compressor wheel in a .60 A/R compressor
housing.

Turbine
51mm inducer 43mm exducer in a .5 A/R turbine housing

Stock RB20 turbo:

Compressor
42mm inducer x 59mm exducer in a .50 A/R compressor housing.

Turbine
51mm inducer x 43mm exducer in a .4 A/R turbine housing.

**rb25 turbo is slightly better, get a gt3071r and that will be MUCH better :slight_smile:

not to bash anyone a street motor will last with 460whp and will last a couple track days, BUT in a drifting environment at the track i dont think it would hold up for long imo, constant redline and variations in the throttle, and holding at the limiter and stuff,

=) btw the 3 years beating the fuck out of my car with a Radek tune and all i’ve changed are spark plugs and rear axles.
I drive my car to the track, get 400+km to a tank and don’t need no trailer.

A drifting environment: 30 seconds full to part throttle

Mosport Long: 1.25min+(avg?) FULL throttle?

Drifting is actually Easier on engine. its hard on “part throttle” situations if your tuner has all sorts of timing mistakes between WOT and idle tuning.

I’m not sure if you were using the 1:25 as a estimate on Mosport? Or is that numbers you want to reach? Also is this including aero and other such supporting parts? Just questions, not being a dick.

I also seen someone on the last page say they beat the shit out of a sr daily. Was this a smashing 1’st to second and then lifting? I dont see you being able to pull threw a lot of gears under heavy throttle, brake hard and do it again on the streets…No matter what anyone can say, you will not be able to compare street abuse to track.

just an estimate; the point was it takes longer to go around Mosport long than one drift battle at let’s say, cscs. hence the ‘+’ symbol and the ‘?’ mark at the end.
