main thing is

that car had an apexi head gasket(higher boost)
->ours had a stocker nissan HG

That car had HKS II 264 cams, (higher flow)
->ours had stockerroo cams

that car had JUN springs n retainers (higher RPMs)
->guess what, ours had stock.

and lastly that car was dyno’d on what looks like a mustang dyno, that reads higher numbers then my dyno.

a wise old engine builder once told me, you make power in the head, reliability in the bottom end

So idono how others perceive it, but when i say STOCK, i mean NOTHING has been modified internally. The head is still 1/3 of the engine no?

If the customer requested house same head mods, the hp number would EASILY be higher.

Who did the intercooler on the 460WHP car?

arp head studs come factory installed?

regardless of the #'s there are always going to be people who question the credibility of a tune/setup/numbers given. it is part of the inherent nature of having your own opinion. personally i don’t believe anything i read and only half of what i see on the interweb these days. i’m sure there is a lot of good tuning involved with this setup, but allowing some e-mechanics to turn a thread into a pissing match with a professional shop raises eyebrows, not customer confidence… but that’s just my opinion.

I did the intercooler and piping on his car, we did a trade my intercooler for his Nitrous set up. Yea the turbo is big, but he will need it to hang with with the big boys. Anyway he loves it.

hey guys iam the owner of this car and just new on SON and let me tell you i have been driving the car for the past few weeks and pushing it to show it off a little everything holds up fine no problems come my way. i will be taking it to the track in april and posting up videos for you guys to see how well it does sorry for all you drifters not so into drifting so no video’s for that. Pur Auto and all the staff there did a amazing job even stayed there till 10pm for me a special thanks to Vlad and Radek for all the hard work.

not very much the only thing that hit the wallet hard was me bying a bunch of little extras such as the rims and all brand new stock everything from all the seals and gaskets to oil pumps and water pumps. it would have been less then 1/2 the cost if i didnt want everything you can think of new.

Above 300whp in a fwd and they tend to become married to torque steer. Near 500whp s absolute insanity in a street driven Civic.

What is done to these cars to lock down that kind of power?

Face down ass up. lol adjustable Shocks with springs.

Anyways, to each his own. I don’t think it’s so much about people not having the money to make their cars 1000whp. Some people might feel that it’s too much power and it’s more of an ego booster than anything else.

I personally think 1000whp is too much for me. I like things in moderation.

But I’m also a guy who thinks that 400+whp in an SR’D 240sx is too much as well.

i agree it most definatly needs a head gasket… Dan tuned my drift car last year, we got 530 HP and something like 430 ft/lbs. that was really fun!!! couldnt imagine it on the streer, but i also have a tendancy to keep my foot on the floor.

to my point of view, power is not everything.
i care about the total balance more than the peak power.
but that doesnt mean Radek is not doing a good job. i spoke with him @pur once, he is very experienced and acknowIedged. i ve decided to bring in my kouki in summer.
a car with beautiful performance but okay looking = respect;
cant perform but beautiful looking = respect;
beautiful looking and performance =ejaculation;
no performance and fancy-inapproporiate looking =ricer
period.
