And this is why i want to get this “documentary” i’m working on finished ASAP, atm im collecting footage from the track and hoping to get more footage of street stuff, and meets in local areas.
I would love to start interviewing some of you guys at the track and what it means to you etc… from my experience of seeing a lot of illegal street racing videos, and meets where 17 yr olds are trying to show off to there friends and then crashes or gets a cop on them makes a huge stereo type on just the regular guys that know what they are doing and find there time and way to get on a track to do what they love instead of doing it illegally.
Its still crazy of how many guys i’ve met that have supped up cars and have no clue about CSCS and or Tracks that are available to them to use. (i want to change that with this documentary)
If i manage to put this together well with all the footage i collect as a documentary piece, ill be pitching it to Global, CBC, City TV , After all i do know a few guys at CBC.
You should go around to weekly meets of the local guys and get some words in. I’m pretty sure most of us wouldn’t mind putting in a good word, and showing the REAL side to the car enthusiasts of toronto.
