Nice update!
I’m not WHITEBOY! that’s what I call you! haha
Should of stopped her I was around lol
^ i was busy doin shit with my dad after painting the frame. just wanted to get home and relax when i left his house lol.
went outside for a bit after work. started cleaning up the motor with a nylon wire wheel. still have the little tight spots left. im undecided if im going to paint the motor at all or not. any way, before and after pics…
also cleaned up the kick stand real quick and hit it with some paint
got hungry and my backs killin me. came inside for a lil bit. i may head back out to clean up the exhaust and the motor mounts later.
You should replace those phillips head engine bolts and just call it a day. Progress looks good! I’m looking forward to a ride soon.
i got a few ideas for paint, ill play it by ear. i still got a few things before i slap it back in the frame, so ill have time to think lol
That looks cool
hell yea, charles is the man! he replicated the stripes off a shitty pic i had sent him, and my buddy slick drew up the script for me. i think it will look sweet once the tank is painted.
fucking sweet:tup:

Who was your decal guy? I want a custom die-cut for my tail section. PM if you want.
Charles. I just text you his email
thx dude, he’d be open to doing custom vinyl work based on sloppy measurements and vague ideas? lol

clear, diff stages:
went pretty well today! sealer and color went over real nice. the first side decal i put on, ended up with a few bubble/lines :(. the second side came out way nicer. lots of LIGHT coats of clear went on, to prevent runs over the decals. we used duplicolor pre-mixed clear. i was kinda sketched by it, but it was only $25 for a qt. and it ended up turning out real nice!
idk why, but some of the pics from lukes phone came out small, and then some big…wish they were all big. dont really feel like resizing them and bluring them

Digging the paint for sure!
