I was just discussing about that with a few people. If the law is that strict, you might as well run. It’s not like you have anything else to lose.
Obviously you shouldn’t be speeding in the first place but what I’m trying to say is that if you happen to get clocked going over 50kmh over the speed limit, you are better off running.
If you pull over, your car will be impounded, your license will be suspended and you could get a $10,000 fine. If you run, you might get away, or face the other consequences but they will be a little harsher.
Either way, good luck getting insurance if this were to happen to you.
