if you get a $10,000 fine you are not paying it anyways.

it becomes much cheaper and more reasonable, even over the long term, to simply drive without a license or insurance. Essentially as if you were an illegal alien in the US. something that 30,000,000 people do every single day.

Buy $500 beaters, no need to go through the expense of registereing, cert, e-testing or anything like that… just drive it and leave it on teh side of the road when it dies.

get pulled over? spend the night in jail, lose your $500 beater… start over in the morning.

makes perfect sense to me.
