AndyB first Honda Build 2007

Well I have been looking for a honda for the last couple of months and after a couple of run ins, I found something that has a lot of potentinal and looks like a lot of fun. I am picking it up Thursday, here it is:

1988 CRX Si
Power Source : 2000 b16 with b18c1 head (Only 60 miles on rebuilt engine)

New OEM Crank/ rod Bearings
New OEM water pump
Rebuilt Oil pump

Ferrea Titanium valves w/ new keepers
Type R double Valve spring both I/E.

5 angle cut on valve seats

***** Side notes, I have new rims for it, and here are a list of things I am getting for it:

1.) Custom Exhaust from Hybrid
2.) Better Cams
3.) Intake Manifold
4.) Larger Throttle Body
5.)CD Player, Rockford Fosgate surround sound
6.) Painted Gunmetal over the winter
7.) Bigger Injectors
8.) Different front end

I am keeping it NA I have decided and keeping the 200 shot dry kit in it. This is my first honda so try and keep the remarks on the positive side and yes I know it looks like a John Deere tractor but it wont for long:rx3:

looks good man but i def think it will look better the black rims iv got a 91 si with a b16 swap, but this is the setup that i want for my car.

not saying I am rebuilding the whole thing just tweaking it some, and building it up in some areas.

that motor is far from being built.

200 dry shot + CTR pistons, probably not the best idea

the ctr pistons in a b16 block with gsr heads compression is not as high as it would be if it was in just a straight gsr. someone needs to talk him out of this “NA” bs. through some forged pistons and rods and but a turbo on that thing. hell i bet matt will sell him his turbo kit for fairly cheap

it will be 11:1 give or take depending on what head gasket is in there
