I had a ripped axle seal for the longest time and I’d have to pull over every few hours (highway driving) and refill my tranny thru the VSS all the time…haha sigh, ahh the memories

The point is that he “trusted” this guy. If I bought a car from someone I trusted I would expect him to tell me he JB welded the tranny back together. Total asshole move, but nothing you can do about. Could of happened to anyone on here.

If Mike would have finished fixing the leak and you didn’t end up finding it till months later would you be as pissed? And when you end up fixing it completely for $20 or so and saved $200 did you really get that bad of a deal? We all (including Mike) can agreed he should have said something about the JB weld, but he didn’t. Did we need a 4+ page thread about it? Live and Learn no used car or seller is perfect.
Next time you buy a car.
