Ive been getting my gas at the mobile on 155 and central, put 93 oct in. Ive heard some negatives about there gas as in the ethanol is not accurate sometimes to much or basically low quality gas in general.Do you guys know if this is a myth ?Where do you get your gas ?besides beans :haha
Sunoco…Hess on occasions.
winter beater, i could give two fucks what goes in it.
Well since there isn’t any Top Tier stations around here I just go to Hess. Never had a problem… My old Z24 had 150k on it (parents bought it new) and was always filled at the same Hess station, no problems. I’ll stick with Hess. Sunoco is good too but they are a bit more expensive. Mobil is a joke in terms of pricing.
exxon in malta… cam2 baby.
i run hess 93, sunoco93, mobil 93 like jose stated
in the tdi, ULSD from hess or mobil then when i’m racin i but a lil bit of that “synthedic” diesel
i fill up where ever in anything, usually hess/mobil cause they are close to my house, hess if i don’t want to drive at extreme angles, but i have never noticed a difference no matter what gas i use.
all the gas around the area is THE SAME!!.. ask any of the guys that deliver fuel for a living and they will tell you all of them get there tucks filled at the port by the same supply, so everyone moaning and bitching about it has no idea how the delivery system really works,
it’s more important who owns the station and who fills it up. thats the key to making sure the gas is clean
QFT :+1
Brew is spot on, all gas comes off the same boat, gets mixed in the port of Albany per instructions of the stations (whether they want 89 or 91), deliver it to the station and then it’s up to the station to make sure that the tanks don’t have water, the filters are clean and everything else is tip top.
I usually just base my buying gas on how nice the station is. If you care enough to maintain and keep your pumps/station clean, you probably maintain your tanks well.
do they still have that there?
and i run sunoco all day everyday in both cars. best gas around hands down.
Yeah they still have cam2 there.
hopefully DJ can come on here and post a picture of a line of trucks all from different company’s (mobile/sunoco/hess) all getting filled off the same freakin line, you guys and your “nah this shit is way better” b/s need to actually do some real research and find out how gas gets from point A to point B to in your tank
its true.
the mobile i used to work at, didnt even have Mobile trucks delivering the gas. they were too expencive. Mystic Tanklines delivered their gas. its the EXACT SAME GAS, just a different color truck… OH NO!
what octane is it again? havnt gotten it in years but i remember it smelling crazy and being like a purple color.
110 IIRC
+1. That’s about all the thought I put into it. Except I dont give a crap how they maintain their tanks.
Good post. I didn’t know this.
i think mobile sells shity gas i use it about 2 weeks ago. and put super + in the car and the next day my car ran like shit so i changed the fuel filter and a shit load of water came out. so know all i use is sunco :nod
Right because fuel filters filter water.
:rofl
they grab all the water in your gas :lol
Really?
