Big motorcycle accident on the 290...

Gun laws tend to deny a right to everybody. What I’m talking about is a punitive measure against people who abuse a privilege.

You mean like what we already have, with our license and points system?

All I can say is the guy ran from the cops not once, but at least 2 times. Someone like that, I dont think it would matter what license they had. That person would just run from the cops.

Yup. But more strict for a more hazardous activity.

After being caught the first time a judge would have the opportunity to remove his license under a more strict standard and prevent him from registering a super port bike in NYS again.

Ok. This has been fun. I’m going back to reality now. See you all next time.

Could always register in in another name. Use someone else’s bike… Or not register it at all…
If you’re running from the cops, I’m sure you would disregard any other legal standards. FAIL.

Im going to quote myself because its one of the only statements in here that makes sense to me.

Are some of you guys really this stupid in real life?

took the words out of my mouth on that one. thank you sir.

If sportbikes are illegal then only criminals will have sportbikes!

Laws are made to be circumvented and worked around by the same individuals that have written them.

I would almost support staged licensing system if it is also passed on to a standard license.

You should not be allowed to buy a trailer hitch unless you pass a state mandated test. You should also be required to understand proper loading of a pickup truck and its tires by passing a state mandated test before you are allowed to register one. You should also have to register every near miss accident with the state to insure all drivers are being safe at all times.

If you inadvertently cut someone off, you will have your class demoted immediately and should you bump a parked car in a parking lot, SWAT will stop by and take your keys.

Life is about personal responsibility. Ones understanding of what that really means changes a lot as you get older and you can try to explain it all you want, but it is a life lesson. You can not teach, or legislate experience. You can only encourage others to make smart decisions. Even when will lead to a shitty result.

Fuck it we should just switch over to communism while we’re at it. It’s worked so well for other countries. All the basic citizens have equal rights … right? Dictator rule is even better!!!

A lot of people live sheltered lives with no real exposure to reality. This really is a reoccurring theme in America IMHO. It’s sad but isn’t that what every parent wants for their child?

So not stupidity so much as ignorance.

How can I protect my family unless I have a sportbike?

how will you get away from the zombies?

LIKE

EXACTLY! When something is outlawed it ensures ONLY the outlaws will have access to it.

Grow a mustache.

YES!

Sportbike = assault bike.

I’m just scared of them bc I see black people riding around on them. You guys got me.

I really hate other law students’ mentalities.

Nothing you can do system wise will change this stuff from happening. Some people have no problem taking chances. Anybody like this can play nice and make it through whatever system you think is going to work and the second they are on the bike that all goes out the window. Or, as stated, they will just buy/steal a bike and there you have it anyways.

Even down here my personal friends who are cops usually just let the bikes go because there is no way they can catch them, heck my friend was telling me the other day how a bike went speeding by him and saw him so the guy took off, about 5 minutes later down the road he watched the guy lose control and pieces just flew off the bike. He drove by, rolled down the window and just shook his head at the guy and kept driving.

At that point the guy fucked himself up enough that the cop had no need to even arrest/ticket him, he just laughed.

Haha I’m sorry if you hate my mentality… What year are you?

Graduated
