I couldn’t say it better, Tim. Regardless of what caused tonight, these two guys were genuinely nice people, always put a laugh on your face.
Shit…

I just felt they thought they were invincible, nothing could phase them. Jose was a very good rider, and it just goes to show, you can be the best rider out there but you can’t control what other people do.
Truth right there. RIP I knew Jose also. My prayers go out to both families.
Mike (freek) is OK via Facebook
There was a thread started on 716riders but it got deleted shortly after. It sucks that it takes things like these to remind us how life can change in a matter of seconds. The day I sold my bike was the best feeling in the world. This could have been me…RIP and be safe guys. It’s just not worth it.
Yeah, I’m good. I was with Geoff, Chris, and Anthony for the most part. I got to mighty just before their group left.
This is really sad.
Just signed up for ride with pride to get my license and things like this just make me think twice about getting into bikes…
Don’t let it stop you, please don’t. Learn from it. Keep this in the back of your head every fucking time you get on that bike.
↑ I WILL NOT get a bike, every year this happens. my buddy Johnny just crashed on the Delaware turns a few weeks ago it was on the news, hes still in bad shape. Not worth it. Sure they are fun but i would rather wake up every day. Sorry for the loss people.
Jose Amaro, Rich Caramezza, Erika(Jose gf), and shawn wimble is the forth.
was at mighty, not sure if i saw these guys but still rip and prayers out to them and their families. it seems like this happens every year, sucks to hear. ive been around bikes my whole life and have always wanted one but never will get one for this reason. i like having four doors protecting me. again rip
Steve you showed up about 5 mins after they left…
That was Geoff, Mike, Anthony and I you saw.
Rich’s sister found out on facebook
Apparently their mother is getting married this weekend. Terrible loss.
So sad to here. My condolences to freinds and family
RIP JOSE!!! You were an amazing person and always put a smile on my face. You are one of my greatest friends and will never forget you. I don’t even know what to say right now. RIP to the others also. This is so crazy because my other good friend’s anniversary of his death is coming up the 19th and it was a motorcycle accident. I drove by it going towards Colvin after hockey and saw the scene. I’m still shaking…
Yea I really want a bike so something like this just shows new riders like me that bike are not toys and never think you are able to push the limit…It’s just a horrible accident feel bad for everybody that knew them and their familys. May they rest in peace
Just be safe everyone. Wear the proper gear and just be safe…Thats all I have to say. I’m still in shock.
