I just got my 2003 330i 4door, and it is very nice, classy, high quality, and I think you get taken seriously in it, more so than the civic si 4-door I was considering
my car is very sporty, almost racey (sport package) It is a little harder to get into it but alot of sport cars are, I am very happy with my car. Get the premium and sport packages
I prefer not to have the awd since it slows you down, and the 325 xi I drove had wheel shake in the front…I didnt like it
uhm, not really, a competent driver with snow tires will do just as well with the 2WD and DSC on as some one in the 4WD cars.
the Xdrive system is no where near as good as quattro.
if you take the same two cars same tires one IX and one 2wd, the IX will do better in the snow, a lot better

Ok people, I get it. Some of you say the xDrive system sucks. That’s good to know, but it’s a bit late—I chose to get it anyway.
Yes, I’ll lose some power. Yes, I could have gotten snow tires for less than $2000. But, it was ultimately a decision I made for the safety, security and mental well-being of my passenger(s).

and I never had a major issue on my 2wd on PS2’s in light snow… god was that stupid though
In a BMW, yes, seriously. BMW recommends you turn DSC off in heavy snow conditions anyway.
