bought plafs 00 Z28

I dont have noises now. I have rattles. Rattles are much more annoying then noises.

ALOT of people have nothing but good things to say about the solids. The same as the poly ones, just much more easier to install.

[quote=toomanycamaros;707100]I’m interested as long as they fit better then the craptastic ones on there now.

QTP (1 3/4)long tubes are a good header i have the same ones that are for sale, new wen he n i got em thet were over a grand he wants 450.00

QTP’s are top quality headers, that’s a deal right there.

The headers on there are stainless steel and worth money. They were a prototype for a brand through ls1tech. You can definitely get money for those things

in scrap steel?

Who were they a prototype for, SSAutoChrome?

I owned the very 1st delivered set of stainless QTP’s, complete with a goulet. Went to the owners apartment to get them 6-7 years ago. Trivia :Can anyone name what brand they were copies of?

pacesetter

does that include a y pipe?

\rofl no no

they were kooks if i remember right

lol I figured.

Kooks made QTP headers (supposedly). All F-body headers were inspired by Grotyohann in one way or another.

I don’t care what he does with them but to say there worth nothing is crazy. The are stainless steel headers, someone on ls1tech will buy them.

WINNER!!!

I’d honestly say they are worth about 75 to 100 bucks you can buy headers and Y new on ebay for 250.

You could get more then that. Let me find out the brand and ill see what they are going for on ls1tech. Pacesetters go for more then that and they are junk. They are not eBay stuff.

On a side note I have qtp lts and y pipe and the only issue I run into is the y pipe merge is massive and hits the undercarriage sometimes

I read some similar reviews of the QTPs. I imagine that is a fairly common problem though given the way GM built the things. I just want something that fits better, because the current setup hits the floor all the time and is a pain in the ass.

with factory torque arm the y-pipe doesnt hit anything, i think pauls trans am has an aftermarket. im pretty sure tunnel mounted or tranny mounted affects it, a tunnel mount i think hits but def dont quote me on that. all i kno is factory torque arm has no issues with qtp y-pipe atleast not in my case

here is the deal on torque arms…

My stocker is in my parents garage, shaped like a S. It twisted like hell and was rubbing my driveshaft from the spray. They are junk.

my tunnel mounted spohn adjustable hit my Texas speed Y pipe. Hit it bad. I traded it for a trans mounted adjustable BMR and my problem is solved.
