But I’m sure they have a professionally certified dremel machinist. :rofl
And yeah I wasn’t going to bring up the FWD pilot, but hey I’m giving the benefit of the doubt.

shit they musta got you at least a grand to do that eh?
450…and they installed a new rear main seal…oh…and they came and picked up the car too…:ahh
if it only worked right thats not a bad price i guess…
9 times out of 10 if it sounds too good to be true… :lol
well the guy gave me a bunch of discounts…it was about 600 before…i talked him down…lol
im down to either the clutch cable or the linkages…gonna check today if i have time…bunch of errands to run today…
I was seriously trying to think of a meaningful answer, but if you just recently had this problem after your new clutch was put in it could be that the clutch disc isnt aligned properly causing excessive effort to turn because its rotating out of round, any vibrations at any rpms or when engaging?
resultant of the flywheel not being machined… good job rewording it. valiant effort.
if the clutch disk wasnt aligned(centered) the transmission wouldnt have when back on without a fight.
It possibly could go on crooked theres still a good 1/8" of freeplay all around the the spline shaft, with my tranny atleast not sure on fwd cars
what? my imput shaft is snug. if there were 1/8" of play on the shaft the clutch would spin around the imput shaft.
well it had the problem a little while before the first clutch was replaced…i think i left that detail out before… :banghead
yeah DOG, ya did.
it also didnt happen before i put the new engine in…and my roommate did some of the reconnecting of things (he helped me w/ the swap…) …i think he might have fucked something up…
Im gonna end this before I sound like an idiot but yes the clutch has no freeplay, but the pressure plate seriously is what i meant that could be off center to the clutch disc where it bolts to the disc… (it is very possible.)
when i get this swaybar endlink in there im going to take it to get inspected…then ill head over to pepboys and bitch at them and have them look at it again…:lol
