Dinosaur BBQ coming to Buffalo?

here we go again… cue the “I like _____ BBQ better” posts

They buying Kentucky Greg’s OP location? LOL

Interesting. Word on the street is that George Soros’s investment group bought a large portion of Dinosaur BBQ.

Word on the street is its going to be near the theater district. 2 possible locations are the old Bijou Grill on Main St. or the old Spaghetti Warehouse on Elm St.

I would be surprised to see them go down

I heard they were trying hard to sign them as an anchor restaurant for Canal Side. Would love that as I work across the street.

I’d love it because…what’s down there now?

Great!!!

But the Troy is the best has of yet!

id go for sure

Not that impressed with Dino BBQ

Went to Smoke on the Water recently and it was great.

Dino bbq is overrated IMO, not that I’m some food snob. I have had the best cheesecake ever there once though…the one in Roc.
Now I have no BS excuse to go buy guns in Roc and pick them up…le sigh. I wish all the good guns for sale weren’t in Roc or Syracuse. LOL

same here for buying stuff in Rochester.

Tried them out their first week and was not overly impressed. Had the andouille in a blanket, grouper sammich, and pulled pork. Nothing really blew me away. I am going to give them another go in hopes it was just opening jitters.

Starting well before I was vegan… BBQ is pretty gross food.

False

Anyone who could possibly go vegan is someone whose opinion I couldn’t trust for anything food related.

It was good. These is room for improvement.

I still like brickyard.

I stopped at this random place in springville last summer called Smokin’ Tom’s BBQ. The brisket was pretty damn awesome. Dino is mediocre at best but I have only had it at the state fair in syracuse.

I will have to check them out, don’t make it up there too often.

J&L in N. Tonawanda had some of the best ribs I’ve had in a while. They have a sweet & spicy mango bbq sauce that was perfect for ribs. Their brisket and pulled pork were mediocre to me. I am not a fan of pulled pork smothered in sauce, let me do my own saucing, and the brisket was pretty bland.
