Dinosaur BBQ coming to Buffalo?

Good stuff!

What’s everyone think of Suzy q’s? I’m hooked. Good pulled port and prices. The piggy pie or the salty hog is where it’s at.

I’ve heard food things about j&l and smoke on the water. Haven’t tried them yet

Buffalo Bucks has awesome BBQ in Boston (NY) if you want to go for a nice short cruise down 219. Support local business.

I wouldn’t judge them(or any restaurant for that matter) by the food they have at the state fair. I don’t think it compares at all to the food at the restaurant.
I’ve only ever been to the location in Syracuse, and I’ve never had a bad meal. I usually stick to the pulled pork and brisket.

Definitely overrated

Bumpity! http://www.wivb.com/dpp/news/buffalo/dinosaur-bbq-to-open-in-buffalo-in-oct

Can’t wait. I haven’t found a place in Buffalo that’s even in the same league. I’m glad you guys don’t like it. More ribs for me!

Did you ever go to Wil’s when it was open?

I have never indulged in this Dino BBQ you guys speak of…is it the holy grail of BBQ? (In NY anyways)

Pretty darn good Rob. Usually try to go once a month when the weather is nice.

Interesting location.

Dude, it exists in more than one area code… IT’S A CHAIN. BURN IT!

have you tried kentucky gregs?

I did after Drew wouldn’t stop talking about the place lol. Super good, bummer they closed :frowning:

still have yet to eat at dino bbq…

i intend on going to the brickyard in lewiston again soon…my favorite place when it comes to bbq. always worth the drive.

We went again last night.

Meh.

The place in Spencerport that used to be called Taste of Texas is better

Me too, they catered a party I had at my house. Then they offered a groupon for 2 sandwhiches, two sides, and two drinks for like $10. I bought it and like a week later it closed :(.

Brickyard is delish, only about 10 mins away for me.

That sucks. I am a fan of Dino for sure, worth the long line/wait? eh, probably not. I tried “Sticky Lips” when I visited New Era a couple weeks ago and it was mediocre, didn’t really impress me much.

I was there once. It was good. Dino’s still my favorite.

BBQ seems like a tough business to be in because it is so specific. I have to be in the mood for it otherwise I go somewhere else. The one in EA was good, the one in OP was good but they both closed.
