I know Im doing mine when I move into my house and have a garage to pull the bumper off the TL. Only trim that is chrome/silver on my car still are the front and rear “A” emblems, grill, and the little trim piece in the headlight. I need to get a spare set of lights or man up to open those, and dipspray that piece.

Yeah I’d love to get the sport black headlights on my car too both those puppies are like $500 each. If I was to buy them I’d also replace the projector or projector lens to improve the HID quality, etc.
So many small things I can do to this car that would make it so much nicer.
I need a respray on my front bumper due to rock chips anyway so I will probably do the 08+ front bumper either way.
And eventually I’m going to have a decent exhaust too once NY finishes my OEM one off.
Coilovers are coming in the spring most likely.

Nah. I wouldnt even take the customer if they asked me to spray bomb their car with that stuff knowing it would come out looking like a ghetto 91 honda after a krylon can exploded on it.
Plus if anything it will boost my paint work… becasue even a shitty respray will look 10 times better than that stuff. And they will just waste time and money on that stuff, peel it off and come to me to do it right.

If I’m able to I’m going to do my roof gloss black (3 or 4 layers of black, layer or 2 of clear) this weekend. Will post pics when it’s done.
