The coating schmitts does is awesome… I worked on a 72 lincoln of the original owner that had driven it through ever buffalo winter since 72 and it had 400k on it. It had been coated every 5 years since it was bought and I tell you what I have worked on 1 year old cars that were in worse shape.
Sorry, I got off on a rant! I’m calm today. Didnt like being called a “retard” and “Dumb” by a couple wads that rant about things they know nothing about.
What planet are you from?? It’s been done for about 25 years, I don’t remember hearing about any rustproofing car blazes, maybe cuz the flash point of oil is 6 times higher than gas. You really are stupid to say something as dumb as that. It lasts, 1 year. You gotta do it every year. I bet you have no idea how to work on your own cars, ever work on a rusty car that every bolt, nut, fastner breaks off?? No, you take your cars in & have them worked on. Duh, you are a stupid one, for sure. Try this professor douche, take 2 pieces of unpainted metal. Spray one with oil, and leave the other unprotected. Keep them there for, say 1 week. Look at the after. Which one rusted? Tardsack.

I just had a point and stated it, you dont have to agree with me. Your right I never have done it but I am not sold on the idea of pure motor oil under the car. Although I have no need for this since I drive a german vehicle that is undercoated during assembly. No need to get so defensive.
Not good for the enviroment? I hope your car is 100% emissions legal Gandhi.
It’s not like I’m pouring old oil down the drain. I used around 2 qts, got a few drips.
Go try to cash in on the “guarantee” when your car starts rusting.

Gandhi says my shit is legal!!!
All the shit you own but you cant afford to have this done professionally??
the oil seeps into the pores of the metal, and the wax provides a “shell” to keep the stuff on. works best when heated.
much like the factory stuff used on European cars.
also, canadain tire sells something similar… the best bet is to heat it up first.
All the shit you own but you cant afford to have this done professionally??
Gandhi has decided you are an idiot!!

I do all my own work, ALL OF IT as I said in my post.
I don’t like taking my car anywhere as everytime I do I get grease on the carpet, dings in the doors, Guys “test driving” my car and getting it back with fresh rubber in the wheewells. No as worried about the Nisan but you get the pic right?
What about the callout Gandhi?

As I said I do all my own work. I’ve gotten vehicles back from shops with grease on rugs and interior, fresh rubber in the wheelwells from their “test drive” even got a dent in my l/f door. (which they repaired) But I could tell where they repaired / repainted it. Maybe you found a really good place to take your car and thats great, But I like working on my own stuff. Always have.
Watch who you call an idiot. That shit comes back to bite you…
