F my life compared to did I get F'd over!

I lost half a fuel injector in a cylinder. I just turned the engine upside down and shook it out. Seriously.

 That’s awesome!

LOL

im guessing it was a dirtbike or something

either way, that rules

Its yambag, nough said/

nope, a 3.4L V6

Wow. You’re more burly than economic insights would suggest. No I don’t know what that means.

did you just call him poor?

.

how does one snap a plug…

Wrenching it clockwise to get it out?!?

I stripped a plug that didn’t want to come out once, it was just stuck in there spinning, it helicoiled out though, didn’t really end up being a big deal.

yeah, wish i would have, and i probably would have found someone cheaper to do the work, and good. someone that doesn’t do it right at a shop, but at there residence.

yeah, thats how i feel now, but im sure ill still do them next time. just a little shitty luck this time. what can you do.

well it took him 4 weeks because it sat around for 3 of them.

also still waiting to get the final paper work, but from the sounds of it now, its not so bad of a price after i heard how many hours and what apparently the cost of the parts were. he said it took 14 hours of labor, and $400 in parts. im just wondering what $400 in parts he needed. from what my understanding would be, oil, filter, shouldnt need plugs or wires because they are new, a new gaskets. I’m wondering if he needed to get valves. either way it just sucks coming up with this money. I am fucking broke from paying everything else and not making enough money here with bi-weekly pay fucking me over on budgeting my money

1300$ doesnt mean that your life is F’d, it means that you have to not spend money on frivolous stuff for a little while. no big deal. youll pay it off… well as long as you arent swimming in debt already…

Brian

I think i would have to actually sit down and think long and hard to be able to create such an abortion of illegible rambling. Do you really talk like this?

yeah, lack of money, plus i was waiting for my taxes to come in so i could use that towards a new car but instead I’m putting that money toward my broke ass car.

recently had the abs and brake light come on as well when it warmed up and all the water on the roads were building up from not being able to get to the drains from the snow. i ended up hitting a decent puddle and i guess the water that sprayed up caused it to go off? i am not a fan of abs in the first place. also just another thing to fucking fix. id rather pump my own breaks.

and for all you people who want to argue the point of abs, go fuck yourselves because its a personal preference.

no I do not talk like this, just typing. i had a fun time growing up as a kid with spelling, grammar and reading. if you talk to me in person, you’ll see a completely different side of me. talk to people on this forum that know me and they will vouch for me.

Dude! He gave you 4 weeks to save up for it!

Edit: Just don’t fix your ABS.

What is going on in here. :bloated:

sorry im not like everyone on this car forum, i need to pay for everything i do/get/need, and with the pay im getting here, its not enough to save a lot of money each pay check. im still putting ruffly $200 each check, but the gas that i go threw is killing me money the most.

This is a joke that hes arguing back right?

i guess you didnt see the post about saying its not so bad once i got the info on how many hours and how much he paid for labor, im now arguing how long it took him when he told me he was going to work on the car right away. instead it took him 3 weeks before he really did anything when i could have found someone to do it in a week if he would have simply told me it wouldnt be work on for 3 weeks

how happy would you be if you were told the cars going to be worked on when you take it to them, then it sits around for 3 weeks when you need it and finally gets work done which took about a day or 2 at most with what he did and said.

i can understand if he told me right there and then before i brought the car to him that it would take some time, but we let him know we needed the car right away and he said ok.

i can also understand if the car took that long to work on, then fine it took that long. but 3 weeks without really doing anything, thats not really acceptable when you tell someone something else.

Enough!
