Firearm BS thread

They require an FFL in NY. I had 1000 rnds in my cart ready to buy this morning when I hit that step.

Shouldnt be too much to have them do the xfer for you. Ive paid as little as $10 depending on the FFL.

Dan

Yeah, I planned to call around, but I was laying in bed at 6am doing this at the time.

I think that a good sam membership from gander camping world something something waives FFL fees, but I have never tried it.

Targetsports and a few others might accidentally ship to NY though.

@king says Tuesday morning as the doors open @ Cabela’s is how to get ammo.

1:300 I’ll probably keep this one forever, I like the odd ball stuff and the gold with the deep blueing look so good.

That bluing is so nice

I order ammo from target sports all the time delivered to my front door here in NY.

Just received 1000rds 9mm less than a month ago from them. Free shipping.

No luck on this weekends hunting trip. My buddy’s scored though. Nice scenery for sure…

I think hunting might work better if the deer are in the same square mile as you and your rifle
I immediately thought of you having a policy with a 1200 yard minimum distance requirement.

I’ve got a Savage Mark II coming eventually. It’s cheap enough and should help me figure out if I’m willing to put any real effort into the attention to detail required and shooting at things greater than 50 yards away.

As much as many can prep/ scout for deer, mostly seems to be right place right time.

Savage makes some decent equipment, and while most high dollar shooters won’t admit it, they can be ridiculously accurate for what you pay. I have a handful of them.

Practice and move up in caliber when you want to go further. Distance = challenge. That’s when you become a bigger part of the accuracy equation.

So since this is a Firearms thread, can someone explain to me how a prop gun (which was a real gun) loaded with a live round could go off without pulling a trigger?

Pretty weird that the word malfunction is not used.
